Hi, I’m Dave – a guy who spends way too much time convincing his home to do things for him. From clever automations that make life easier to slightly ridiculous ones that exist purely for my own amusement, I’m all in on smart home tech.
I started this channel to force myself to learn, whilst also giving others the chance to learn from my journey (and ideally avoid the mistakes I make along the way). Win-win.
Most of my projects are built around Home Assistant, using add-ons like Node-RED, ESPHome, and various sensors to trigger automations that range from genuinely helpful… to questionably necessary.
